The latest instalment in the split EP series sees the introduction of two fresh artists, with Resonance Records co-founder George Smeddles making his debut on the label following releases on the likes of Sola, VIVa and more, whilst Argentinian producer DJ 'LondonGround' helms the flip as both producers deliver two original cuts each to form their ‘Dopamine Games’ EP.
Opening the release, ‘Games’ quickly unravels into a slick groove-heavy production guided by soulful vocal hooks and rich stabs, whilst ‘Feeling’ sees Smeddles lay the focus on bumping sub-bass and rolling percussion arrangements throughout. The flip-side welcomes the introduction of bondonGround’s first original ‘Digital Dopamine’, merging hefty kicks with dynamic, ever-evolving chord melodies, before flowing into ‘Loco22’ as the heady cut introduces tripped out vocals and crisp organic drum work to conclude proceedings in fine fashion.
