Vinyl record
DESCRIPTION:
Deep House / Tech House - Bulgarian hardware maverick KiNK released the Playground long player back in late 2017 to much acclaim, and now re-appears on Gerd Janson's Running Back with a nice remix package. Following the first edition which featured reworks by Dusky and Radio Slave, Strahil Velchev gets Mr. Minimal himself - the inimitable Matthew Herbert - to provide a Funnel Dub of "Yom Thorke". This one is a reductionist exercise in hypnotic polythyrhms and it is to quite stunning effect. On the flip, the legend from Philadelphia Josh Wink steps up to deliver a hi-tech rendition of "Five" where the Ovum Records boss delivers an energetic techno perspective of the most timeless variety.

No introduction needed, KiNK gets the remix treatment from Matthew Herbert, Josh Wink, Dusky & Radio Slave... Two volumes cut for maximum impact.

KiNK is an Bulgarian acid techno and acid house producer, also known with his attempts in experimental styles. His his first release - "Same ol' thing" was released by the UK label Odori and hit the house charts of several online vinyl shops. With the support of names such as Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Surgeon and Modeselektor, KiNK is rapidly gaining momentum in the electronic music industry and is proving himself as a unique and consistent producer. Since 2009 he is suffering from tinnitus which made it impossible for him to attend the DJ booth for a short period of time, during which he produced a number of tracks for major labels such as Ovum. KiNK's "Taped in 2009" mix was announced as Resident Advisor's mix of the day on December 31, 2009 thus marking the end of the decade. Read more on Last.fm.
