There are at least three artists with this name: 1) Krush were a successful dance music outfit who had a major crossover hit with "House Arrest (The Beat Is Law)" in 1987. The group consisted of artists Mark Gamble, Cassius Campbell and producers Mark Brydon and Robert Gordon. Their second single "Walking On Sunshine" was a club hit in 1992. The featured vocalist on both of these tracks was Ruth Joy. Brydon continued his success by later working as a producer with house act Moloko. "House Arrest", a sample based dance track, was a massive hit in the UK reaching number 3 on the Gallup Top 40 music charts in December 1987. Alongside similar releases by artists such as Bomb the Bass and S-Express, House Arrest is considered a pioneering example of British house music. It has since been licenced to numerous compilation albums. 2) Mistagged old crustcore band from Holland, the right tag is Kru$h 3) 90's Metal/Thrash band from San Diego, CA. After completing a North American headlining Arena tour and a record deal offer from Metalblade records, Krush became defunct as the members of the band disbanded to focus on their personal lives and families.
