DESCRIPTION:
New Indie Rock LP - Pressed On Transparent Pink Vinyl fo Indie Record Stores Only - Goat Girl’s new album “On All Fours” was produced by Dan Carey (Kae Tempest, Black Midi & Franz Ferdinand) in South London in early 2020. This new record sees the band veer away from the confrontational lyricism of their debut & indicates Goat Girl’s maturing perspectives in discussing the world's injustices and social prejudices, using the music to explore global, humanitarian, environmental and mindful wellbeing.

Throughout, “On All Fours”, Goat Girl’s Frequent use of sci-fi synthesisers, off-beat chord progressions, analogue drum machines, diverse vocal styles and distinct, gritty guitars fuse a musical language that expresses both former characteristics and newer developments of the band’s sound and vision On All Fours

Last FM Information on Goat Girl

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
South London quartet Goat Girl signed to Rough Trade in 2016, but sound like they could’ve been on the label 40 years ago when it was releasing records by The Raincoats, The Fall and Swell Maps — dirgey, spare and menacing. The group’s self-titled debut album was released in 2018, followed by On All Fours in early 2021. Whereas their debut focused on post-punk instrumentation, On All Fours expands their sonic palette to more psych and synth sounds The band's line-up consists of Lottie "Clottie Cream" Pendlebury (vocals, guitar), Ellie "L.E.D." Rose Davies (guitar), Rosy "Bones" Jones (drums), and Holly "Hole" Mullineaux (bass). The latter replaced Naima "Jelly" Redina-Bock in 2019. Read more on Last.fm.
