DESCRIPTION:
4 Track EP OF Deep House with Tech Flava Nice N Deep Bass Heavy House with Familiar Vocal Snippets

Flumo's mainstay Ekkohaus returns, this time bringing a full-bodied package for the dance floor. Suitably, Far Fetcher acts as a warm welcome, inviting the listener inside its richly deep analogue soundscapes, reminiscent of deeper sides of classic house rhythms that have come from the USA. It's pace provides a perfect way to start off the EP while the synth-vocal creates a soulful depth.

Things get darker and more aggressive with Musketeers, a dub-heavy rhythm that drives one to involuntary movement due to its relentless repetition and & subtle swing. The amalgamation of the synth along with the pulsating sub invigorates one to move and bounce along with these elements.

Fantasy provides the penultimate party vibe. It's funkiness transcends & the melodies drive the vocals to the extent of ecstasy.

Rounding off the EP 64 Bars features vocals by Arthur Russel, the synth inflicted break progressions cap

Last FM Information on Ekkohaus

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
Ekkohaus was born in Greece a few decades ago. His real name is Kostas Tassopoulos but he soon realised that this was not the kind of name he could base a career on. He has studied vibraphone and percussion and he just got a BA in music technology (London College of Music & Media). In 2002 he moved to London hoping that he could focus on the remarkable kraft of music production. There, he tried to mix every possible culture, music genre and form of art know to mankind. Over the last few years he has collaborated with several artists and musicians. Ekkohaus also has an addiction to record-spinning, a disease widely know as djing, and has been spinning his records for half a decade now. He has actually enjoyed a few residencies (Multi Vitamins, Pool bar-Corsica studios, London/Hobo club, kalamata, Greece/Babalu, Psiri, Athens/Petrogaz, Melissia, Athens), and even more "one-night stands", I can only remember the Zeitgeist party, Djscandance, MultivitAmins, Logarhythm, After Dinner, Café 1001, T-bar, The Key Club, Catch 22, Thirst Bar in Soho, BTS projects, the 109 parties...blah...blah...aaaahh...and soon X-Mud in Florence, Watergate in Berlin... He recently has his first vinyl and net releases thanx to a handful of people that believe in his music and enjoy risking their money... ...the story goes on... www.ekkohaus.com www.myspace.com/ekkohausmusic www.myspace.com/brutbooking Read more on Last.fm.
