When two new acclaimed House artists pair up in the studio, you know the result is going to be something pretty special. We welcome Dombresky and Boston Bun to the Toolroom Family as we continue to develop our musical roster with exciting new collaborations for 2020.

’Stronger’ is a party-infused piano House track. Upbeat, drenched in energy and feel-good vibes. With the original version already well past 1m streams on Spotify alone, Dombresky & Boston Bun's incredible 'Stronger' gets some serious remix treatment from Danny Howard, Tensnake and Mat.Joe.

Radio 1’s Danny Howard kicks off the remixes with a high-energy, club ready remix made for the dancefloor. Hot off the back of writing his 2nd studio album, Tensnake delivers a trademark feel-good vibe by taking this to the daytime pool parties and sun-drenched terraces of Ibiza and although they seem like a distant dream at the moment, with one listen to this we're instantly transported to the White Isle! Mat.Joe take things a little tougher and add their unique blend of tough, techy drums, quirky percussion and bundles of energy alongside those unmistakable pianos and vocal hooks from the original.

Last FM Information on Dombresky

Although he hails from the south of France, Dombresky’s penchant for invigorating four- on-the-floor beats is pure house bliss. The DJ and producer burst onto the scene in 2016 when he arrived in Miami as Quentin Dombres, a then-unknown talent with an impressive roster of funky, feel-good tracks. Today he has become inextricably linked with industry heavyweights including Blondish, Armand van Helden, Diplo, Claptone, and MK, all of whom supported Dombresky’s early career endeavors as collaborators. With jazz-tinged, hypnotic songs like “Soul Sacrifice” earning over 50 million streams and counting, and becoming one of Beatport’s top selling artists, it’s clear that Dombresky has set himself apart from the rest. Just a few years after arriving in the States and starting his career from scratch, Dombresky has hit career milestones that most DJs only dream of, playing Lollapalooza, headlining Snowglobe and Countdown NYE, selling out famous venues including the Shrine Auditorium and the Hollywood Palladium, and growing a loyal fanbase that nets him millions of streams per month. Now, Dombresky has gone global, playing sold-out venues across the country, to the hottest clubs of Ibiza and Dubai, and he shows no signs of slowing down. In 2023 he is slated to return to Coachella and continues to broadcast his passion project, Process Radio, which won him an Electronic Dance Music Award for best radio show. He isn’t just stopping there. Expanding the Process name, Dombresky is thrilled to launch Process Records, which will allow him to take ownership of his masters and mentor up- and-coming talents. Last FM Information on Boston Bun

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
Boston Bun discovered electronic music on TV when he was 16 years old. He watched video clips by The Chemicals Brothers, The Detroit Grand Pubahs or Basement Jaxx. It became obvious to him: he would be a director of strange videos. While learning how to be a director, he discovered music production. A few years later, producing tracks in his bedroom and looking for vinyl nuggets on YouTube were his main activity. In 2012, Boston Bun completed work on his first official remix, and started mixing at the Social Club twice a month. Having met with Pedro Winter (aka Busy P), he started working on this first EP. They shared a studio together and the “Housecall” EP was released in November 2012 on Ed Banger. Its rough house sound, dusty bass lines and loud vocals impressed everybody. The three tracks received great critical acclaim and Boston Bun started playing in clubs and festivals all over the world: Xoyo in London, Razzmattaz in Barcelona, Womb in Tokyo, Pixi in Athens, Dour, Montreux, Astropolis, Peacock Society, Bungalup, Les Transmusicales, Panoramas, Boiler Room... At the end of 2013, Boston Bun released his second EP, “Flasher”, on Ed Banger. The three tracks were hypnotic and tailored for clubs. They were played on the radio (BBC1, Le Mouv, France Inter) and also by the best DJs on the electro scene (2manyDjs, Skream, Duke Dumont, Erol Alkan, Surkin, Boys Noize, Daniel Avery…). Boston Bun’s new EP, “We Got Soul”, is a great step. Vocals are more important than ever, it’s club music with soul! “We Got Soul” features Bear Who? (DJ Sneak’s voice) on vocal. It’s an anthem-tribute to The Mongoloids, Boston Bun’s main influence that adds a contemporary flavour to the special scene. The B-side, “Time Bomb” (featuring the DJ/singer Piu Piu) is an emotional growing track, between pads and explosion. In 2015, Boston Bun will release three EP’s in a serie calls Just For Freaks. Two tracks each time, always influenced by Chicago house and shaped for the club. With such a unique and breakthrough sound, Boston Bun establishes further more among the French producers who really matter. Read more on Last.fm.
