Deep House / Tech WitH Spoken Male Vocal Includes Seth Troxler & Luke Solomon Remixes

Dino Lenny is an Italian DJ, singer, producer and boss of Fine Human Records who has been on the scene for 20 years. Also signed to Ellum Audio he knows how to cook up eclectic house & techno that brings people together. Doorly, of course, is the global house star who has put out big anthems on the likes of Cajual and Hot Creations. Here their fantastic offering is 'The Magic Room,' a playful track that teases with a discoriff and spoken word musings before lush pianos and hip swinging drums really take over. Some female coos and string stabs later on add real soul, and it doesn't take much to see this one becoming an instant classic thanks to its coy funk and musical charm.

Dino Lenny starts very young as a radio deejay in a small town of the South of Italy, Cassino. He grows up within an interesting group of lads such as Savino Martinez and Claudio Coccoluto. In the late 90s he decides to seek fortune in the UK, his native country. In London his career gets a boost thanks to a long series of important remixes: Inxs, Underworld, Missy Elliot, Timbaland etc and the collaborations with The Housemartins, Scissors Sisters, Wu Tang Clan, Madonna, just to mention a few names and a collaboration with Steve Lawler on Viva Rec. His productions are just as interesting as the remixes and Dino Lenny earns for three times in a row the label of " Essential New Tune" on Radio One (BBC) by Pete Tong. Considered "A Wizard of the Electronic music" by the Chemical Brothers, Dino Lenny explores the full range of his potentialities and starts singing. In 2011 Dino performs live with Skin & Underworld at The Brixton Academy. After David Byrne's approval "I Wanna be Like Talking Heads/ A Dj Deep Inside" gets released on Strictly Rhythm. The story continues in the summer of 2014 with releases on Exploited, Suara, Off Recordings and upcoming releases in 2015 on Damian's Lazarus Rebellion. Dino's main project at the moment is with Maceo Plex's label Ellum that has already released the well received Eps "It's Saturday" & Living In a Song" with rmxs from Gardens of God Shall Ocin & Rebolledo. More to come this winter on Ellum. Meanwhile Dino has also had time to launch his exciting brand new label Fine Human Records..! Read more on Last.fm. Last FM Information on Doorly

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
In an era when it seems every DJ shows up to gigs carrying something smaller than a kid’s lunchbox, Doorly is the exception to this rule. Using a set up that would make even Zabiela blush (3 CDJs, 2 1210s, EFX unit and Pioneer 800 to be precise), when he says he’s DJing live, he means it. Everything that you hear in his set is being created in the mix, then and there. Doorly's movement behind the decks is relentless and he switches between musical genres with ease with an unfaltering energy. He works riffs, loops, beats and bass together with seamless precision to create a musical mash up only attainable with true skill and passion. Playing a mix of techno, electro, drum n Bass & dubstep mixed in with ample doses of indie and hip hop. Expect the unexpected as it’s all about the party with Doorly. His style may best be classified as an old school block party DJ using new school technology. His first big break came when he was made a resident for London super club, Ministry of Sound, for their hugely successful Milkshake night, where he spend 3 years honing his mash up style. His constant touring all over the world and ability to put together amazing parties, have seen him play alongside some of the biggest names in the business, including Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, Armand van Helden, and Soulwax to name but a few! Internationally, Doorly has a very busy calendar, completing dates in Poland, Germany, Egypt, Australia, Austria, Ibiza, Ukraine & Slovakia, over the past year. Doorly Spends his summer in Ibiza as resident for the hugely successful Ibiza Rocks / Manumission events. The Rest of the year to Doorly world tour continues stopping off along the way for his hallowed residencies for Techno Pioneers “Wax:on” and Drum & Bass world beaters “Metropolis” and pretty much the best clubs in every UK City!! As a natural candiate Doorly regulary supports 2mandjy & soulwax on their UK dates and actually found himself playing with them 5 times in a single week this summer!!! Doorly is also one of the exclusive list of artists invited to be part of the Annie Mac Presents Tour – always a benchmark of “Who’s Hot”!! Once again, this summer, Doorly returns to Ibiza in as the Ibiza Rocks front-man, also presenting this year’s Ibiza Rocks Podcast & Co-Running their new Techno / Electro club-night “Reclaim The Dancefloor.” On the production front, Doorly is also a rising star. With a critically acclaimed EP due for release in May on Wax:On Music and a series of major label remixes for artists including X-Press 2 (Skint), Cagedbaby (Southern Fried), Trash Fashion, The Stereo MC’s, The Whip & Man Like Me. All crafted in Doorly’s inimitable & genre switching (pigeon-hole this!!!) style, from techno through electro to dubstep & back again!!! 2009 has already seen Doorly’s work away from the decks turn heads and gain some major radio support and this momentum seems to be building fast for the summer!! Doorly also somehow finds the time to promote club event Afterparty in his hometown of Huddersfield. The event has recently been voted Galaxy radio’s “Best club night” in their recent Nightlife Awards, and also listed as Mixmag’s number 1 club night in the UK last year. This past 6 months has seen some of the biggest acts in the dance scene come to play in the sleepy town which previously had no clubbing scene. Acts including 2manyDJs, Annie Mac, Scratch Perverts, Kissy sell Out, Jon Carter, Sinden / Herve, Pete Tong and Dave Spoon have graced the Afterparty turntables. Doorly was originally inspired by the multitude of talent he head listening to BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix so obviously his 2 major goal as a DJ was to do his own Essential Mix. In April 2008 it actually happened!! Doorly was asked by Radio 1 to do a live Essential Mix as part of their “In New DJs We Trust” Introducing Tour. The mighty Pete Tong Selected Doorly as his favourite rising star in the UK and came to Huddersfield to introduce Doorly to the world, broadcasting his set live on Radio 1. Always considered a bench mark for quality DJ/Producers, an invite to guest on a Radio One Essential Mix is something that always brings out the best in a DJ. Doorly’s Mix was no exception receiving worldwide acclaim and cementing himself as a DJ/party legend with an unapologetic boundary free sound all his own. Radio 1 have since continued to support Doorly, this year booking him for Creamfields and their Radio 1 weekend in Ibiza where he hosted the main stage to hype up the crowd either side of the live broadcasts. Also this summer Radio 1 executives called in Doorly to record his own his pilot radio show and has been placed on the shortlist for his own show on Radio 1’s in new DJs we Trust Rotation.
