The title track ‘1001 Nights’ is a prime example, an emotive melody suspended above a spacious techno framework. The formula heads further into a trippy, euphoric headspace (‘Learning To Fly’), offers serene moments of ambience and dreamy arpeggios (‘Moonlight Tide’’). The Italian duo have a gift for making synths sing in harmony and flicker between the beats. A profound musicianship which shines throughout this record, making each track standing out in distinctive ways.

Alfa Romero is a project by Marzio Aricò aka Prudo and Lorenzo Bartoletti.
