There are at least 2 artists with the name Trei: 1) TREI (TRiNiTiOPUS)(트레이) was a 3-member group under Banana Culture. The members consist of: Jaejun, Changhyun, and Juntae. They started as a duo on August 28th, 2017 and added another member on May 17th, 2018. They debuted on February 19th, 2019. Unfortunately, on June 19, 2020, it was announced that the group had disbanded after all the members had left the agency. 2) Trei is a New Zealand Club DJ, with a reputation for infectious mixing and slamming dance-floor vibes, TREi has become a regular at some of the country’s best known Drum’n’Bass sessions - including New Zealand’s longest running club night Bass Frontiers - and has played around NZ & abroad with the biggest names on the international scene including Andy C, Pendulum, Zinc, Friction, Concord Dawn, Digital, and Mampi Swift. Production-wise, his music has gained interest - featuring regularly on playlists of top Drum'n'Bass DJs including State of Mind, L Double (BBC1xtra), Sappo (BBC1xtra), Digital, Futurebound, Klute, Friction and Andy C. 2006 saw TREi release his first worldwide 12” on the respected Random Recordings (’Catscratch‘/’Big Mouth’ RAN010) followed closely by his second release (’Listen In’/’Lost World‘ RAN011). Now with forthcoming releases on Commercial Suicide, Obsessions, Souvenir Music, Uprising Records, Citrus and FokuzLtd Recordings. International label’s followed up on the hype and 2006 saw TREi release his first worldwide 12” on the respected Random Recordings (’Catscratch‘/’Big Mouth’ RAN010) followed by his second release (’Listen In’/’Lost World‘ RAN011) and UK’s Crisis Recordings ‘Choose Your Own Mission’. Collaborations with scene heavyweights State of Mind, The Upbeats and Concord Dawn, have also transpired, all due out in the very near future as well as ‘Between the Eyes’ (w/Teknik & Menace) on Dutch Label Citrus Recordings, and the breakthrough track ‘Valium Express’ (w/Dose & Menace) receiving huge support from the likes of Klute, Ed Rush & Optical, Concord Dawn, Black Sun Empire, due out in the coming months on Commercial Suicide.
