There are at least 6 bands called Spank. 1. Spank, (George "Spanky" McCurdy) is a world-renowned drummer and up-and-coming producer who is well-versed across a broad spectrum of musical styles. A proud native of North Philly, Spank has performed with the likes of Sean “Diddy” Combs, Lady Gaga, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, and Kanye West. He has also collaborated with Queen Latifah, Nas, Q-Tip, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and Tye Tribbett. 2. SPANK is a power pop rock band created in march 2005 by olivier guitar and voice, olivier bass and ben drum . It took only 6 months to produce their first EP eponym (with "dodo" PARISE et jean JONQUEZ/"studio mobile") to prove to the word that they are not only good on stage. All the lyrics are written by MR CHAUZY (a mix English / French). 2006 has been a massive year of work for them with a lot of gigs in the south of france and the shooting of the two first videos ( "from here" and "why don't you love me) produced by jean louis CRUZ and with the help of many friends for the technique and the make up. 2007 will be the year of all expectation with the recording of the first album that should come out in the summer (still with "studio mobile") 3. A punk/ska/hardcore band from Bitola Macedonia Members: Mirko Pejkovski -vocals,bass Goran Micevski (Kus) - trombone, backing vocal Vlatko Simonovski - guitar,backing vocal Bifo drums They have 1 album called Chose your side 4. An independent group from Perth Australia active in the mid to late 90s with three CD releases 5. A local punk band from Tabor, Czech Republic. They have only one live CD and some demo song's. 6.
