"Time flies, time changes, runs like sand through my hands, most of it I've wasted, staring at gray walls with empty eyes ..." sings klea in her debut single "Uhren auf Anfang". The song tells of the feeling of being lost, of standing still, of powerlessness. and the feeling of not having enough time and of missing out on life a little more every second. But at some point the knot loosens. Mood of optimism: "Set the clocks to the beginning, I'll pick up slowly ..." In her songs klea primarily writes about moving topics like failed love but also about fear of the future, depression, self-doubt, indecision and standstill. “I tend to find it easier to write about melancholy and thoughtful subjects. I think that in the end it is exactly these songs in which many people can find themselves and feel understood. With her debut single “Uhren auf Anfang” the young artist presents herself with an autobiographical song that couldn't be more honest. So honest and intimate that at first it was difficult for her to play the song to anyone at all. klea has developed her own unique sound and style and interprets her songs with her sensitive voice that gets under people's skin. And that's exactly what klea wants with her music: to touch people. Under her real name Kim Leitinger, klea has already shown that she knows what it means to build a wide-reaching community. Since 2012 she has been uploading self-produced cover versions of well-known and less well-known songs - all interpreted in her unique "klea style" - on her YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/kleamusik). With more than 50,000 subscribers today and over 5 million views on her videos, she was named “Newcomer of the Year” by the VideoDays jury. YouTube selected the young artist as a newcomer in 2017 for the internationally renowned YouTube NextUp program. Whether at the VideoDays in Berlin, as support for the artist Alycia Marie on her Reflections Tour 2016 or at the Xmas party in the YouTube Space and at many other appearances: Kim knows how to touch people with her soulful voice and her authentic texts and also to cast a spell live. On her first major support tour for the artist “Körner” she was able to present her own songs live in front of a larger audience for the first time in November 2018. The great demand for the first tour EP was an indication of the interest in the newcomer's songs.
