There are two known artists with this name: 1) Infuse is a drum&bass project by Karl Risenfors from Sweden 2) Infuse is an experimental rock band from Maldives. 1) Karl (aka Infuse) who's been producing Drum & Bass for a couple of years finally decided to take up on House and other electronic music, and it payed off. His production is top class and well recognized by musical details and varieties. Karl is from Gothenburg, Sweden and coming from a family with musicians he started playing the guitar as a kid. After a couple of years he got bored and discovered hip hop as a young teenager. At the same time Karl started experimenting with different music software on his computer, starting to make hip hop beats and soon to discover Drum & Bass. Karl has tunes signed to some of the biggest labels in Drum & Bass such as Bassbin, Vibez and Counter Intelligence. Counter Intelligence has put out his first vinyl with "Observer", a monster of a track recalling the heyday of dark Drum & Bass, inspired by the likes of Photek and Source Direct. “Contra” is one of Karl’s most recent projects. Johannes Tsagarakis and Karl Risenfors started producing techno and house together during 2008. Inspired by minimalism, they produce techno and house with focus on long breakdowns and buildups. As for their musical philosophy, even the smallest musical units are important in their arrangements. During 2008 they have written tunes such as “Strato”, the minimalistic “S.P.Q.R.” and “Leader”, More recently the fellas have produced tunes called “Lowrises”, “Towers” and “Re Up”. It was the 1st time two of them discussed about music in depth. The jamming sessions were conducted in the old Maldivian embassy (Sosun Villa). While they were jamming, they decided to bring Nishwan’s cousin Azzam as a vocalist. In April the group got a chance to perform at Hotshot Café, but sadly it was the day Madhih was having his exams, which made him unable to play that day. Madhih then decided to send his brothers Nafih, Arish and Nabeeh to play temporarily for the group as bassist, rhythm guitarist and lead guitarist respectively. Nadhal happened to come by while the group was practicing for the event. Nishwan then asked Nadhal whether he could sing for them. He then sang and decided to participate as the vocalist for the event. After seeing reactions from the crowd during and after the performance, the group decided to form a band and make it formal. Nishwan then talked to Madhih about this and they both decided to make it official. The final members were decided and they were Madhih (guitarist/band leader), Nishwan (drummer), Nadhal (vocalist) and Nafih (bassist). For the performance on Independence day of Maldives held in Sosun Villa (26th July 2009) they decided to add another guitar and a keyboard to improve the music. Yafiz and Ali Shiyam decided to help the band on rhythm and keyboard. That was the last Live Performance of Infuse. So after that last event Madhih got the idea of Composing originals. Nadhal was there to write the lyrics. And with both of their combinations it became an experimental Rock band. 2 solo albums and 1 cover album was composed between 2009 to 2011. Infuse specially thanks the people who contributed their time and effort for making this a Successful Band. The End.. Maybe! Read more on Last.fm.
