There are multiple artists named Gimmick. Among them are: 1. An old alias of Armin van Buuren. Under this name he released two singles: Why You Wanna Hurt Me (1997) and Free (1999). Unlike Armin's later works as a trance producer, these two singles were more house and disco influenced. 2. A Japanese visual kei band. The correct tag for them is: ギミック. 3. An electronic music artist and producer. He also runs under the aliases "Gimmick241" or "Gimmickmusik" He made is debut in 2012, on Marco's Love Life EP playing the guitar in the first track "Russian Roulette." Since then Gimmick has released his own EP titled "Who's That Gimmick Faggot?" His influences come in a variety of styles including the styles of The Glitch Mob, Ferry Corsten, Justice, Wolfgang Gartner, Daft Punk, Tiesto, Madeon, Porter Robinson, and Pendulum.
