Releases by azure

There are multiple artists that use the name Azure: (1) A Swedish melodic black metal/melodic death metal band, (2) A German emo band, (3) A British progressive rock/power metal band, (4) A British hard trance producer, (5) A Finnish melodic death metal band, (6) A jazz/funk group from the Netherlands, (7), an alias of Mike Chilton, who released the trance album Planetarium in 2019. (1) Sweden's extreme metal band Azure was formed in 1995 by guitarist/vocalist Robban Kanto. In the beginning the music was heavily influenced by the melodic black/death metal scene but later went on to a more technical approach when Mattias Holmgren (Embracing, Tired Tree, ex. Naglfar) and Peter Uvén (Embracing, April Divine etc) replaced the old rhythm section. The lyrics theme takes place in a fantasy world created by Robban called Hevalia, but in different time periods. The latest album "King Of Stars - Bearer Of Dark" is though a continuation of where the Moonlight Legend album ended. Discography: King of Stars - Bearer of Dark - CD (2005 Pulverised/Deathgasm) Moonlight Legend - CD (1998 Solistitium) A Vicious Age Lasting - EP (1998 Pentheselia) (2) The German emo band Azure was active in the 1990s. They released a self-titled 7” (Honesty Records, 1995) and split 7" with Cerulean (Crooners Club Records, 1996). (4) Azure is an alias of UK hard dance producer and DJ Paul Maddox. (6) Azure was the original name of Azure Hiptronics, a jazz/funk group based in The Netherlands (7). Mike Chilton, more better known as Azure, was a trance artist who released the album Planetarium in 2019. Azure was a member of the community of a rhythm game called Dancing Line, where he showcased levels from the game as well as fan-made levels by the Dancing Line community on his YouTube channel. Mike no longer is affiliated with his YouTube channel as it has been transferred to a team of people who are working on a remake of Dancing Line. Read more on Last.fm.
